1. All of her nude scenes in the movie were done by a body double. That's never Brooke you see nude.
2. Nudity of an actress of any age isn't illegal as long as it's shot in a non-sexually explicit way. This is a complex legal issue, but it mostly comes down to don't focus on the genital area and you'll be OK.
I really liked the movie Pretty Baby, but WTH was her mom thinking, allowing her to be nude. She was easily one of the most beautiful actresses, but I have a huge problem with her mom allowing her to do those nude scenes. She wasn't even developed! She was just a baby!

It's not the nudity that offends me. I could care less if someone over 18 chooses to do a nude scene. It's the parent of an 11 (or 12) year old child doing a nude scene that offends me. There are way too many sickos out there that get off on the sight of a nude pre-teen girl (or boy). It's not Brooke Sheilds' fault that she did a nude scene. I find that the fault lies within her mother for allowing her to do that. I'm a parent and I can't imagine allowing (and even encouraging) my young child to do a nude scene knowing there are sick perverts getting off on that. Sorry, but that's just my opinion. I still loved the movie, though.
