Exhilarating acting in God Looked Away!!!

I read Dotson Rader's book, Tennessee, Cry of the Heart, which the play God Looked Away (Pasadena PlayTheather) is based on. A glimpse (that says it all) of Tennessee Williams' life. Al Pacino is Tennessee Williams, every step of the way, no doubt in my mind about it. His acting is so grandiose, so spectacular, so electrifying (and another zillion of adjectives)...he is the backbone of the play (otherwise a bit boring for those who are not into known of TW). I sat there for 2:45 hrs, in the first row, watching, feeling, being exalted by Al Pacino. Monumental. He commands the stage, effortlessly, with joy, doing all the necessary things to make this play hypnotic to watch. God, please keep Al Pacino in good health and alive for another 100 years because what would Acting be without him? And what would we be left with? Oh, baby!

I wish I could see him on stage for once. I've seen every film he's in but no plays.
