He's like a rock star of writing.

Like a rock star, King did all his best work while baked out of his mind on all manner of drugs and alcohol. Also like a rock star, he got clean and all his work after that just doesn't quite cut it.

I believe the Tommyknockers is the last book he did while using. He's done plenty of good things since then.

Edit: His first book after getting sober was Needful Things. A pretty good effort.

Totally disagree, do you read his books? Or are you just basing it off of his adaptions? He is still putting out quality stories.

I've read most of them, and his later stuff is nowhere near the quality of his 70s and 80s books.
