Looks gorgeous, but some very questionable accent work from Farrell (unless he's staying Irish?) and Kidman's wavers in instances. Should be interesting nonetheless. Can easily see this flopping though, and the quick turn around from when this was filmed gives me pause.

Kidman's accents don't usually sound right in the trailer. She doesn't do textbook accents (Kirsten's sounds very textbook Southern), though I find that makes her characters more unique and authentic when watching the whole movie.
But this is gonna get buried (and perhaps rightfully so) when people realize Sofia cut the only character of color. And her excuse will probably be something like she didn't want to represent African Americans as just slaves so she cut the character, which is fundamentally whitewashing, and lazy, and the wrong response.
