Can't stand him

He's always making himself look like a victim and that he accomplishes things while with Parkinson's.

I mean you have celebrities with cancer and the more serious diseases.

He's hungry for fame when he doesn't have it anymore.

You look at the late Dennis Hopper and his battle through his days. He never once cared to make a spectacle of himself. And he went through mucho much worse. Rest his soul.

Fox just seems like he wants to make himself look like an American hero and a
fighter.

Yeah it is a serious disease, but he wants more publicity for himself rather than first helping others.

Can't stand him and his wife Tracey too is similar to him.

Fox is just despicable

>>> reporters were getting suspicious of the situation

What was making them suspicious?

It should be against the law to use 'LOL'; unless you really did LOL!

What was making them suspicious?

It started because obviously he was spending quite a lot of time around a certain hospital in Boston I think, especially around 1998 when he had brain surgery to relieve the symptoms. And it was brought to the attention of a few journalists.

Then gradually little stories started to appear that he had a "mystery illness" before he was confronted by a reporter who stupidly shouted that he had Parkinsons.

Then Fox's agents etc started receiving calls from The Enquirer that if he did have an illness his fans had the right to know, which IMO is crap. He wasn't entitled to share that with anybody if he didn't want to. And it snowballed from there.

It's all in his book Lucky Man.

My life fades... the vision dims... all that remains are memories

Is there proof out there that the money from his Parkinson's research
center is going directly toward sick children with that illness? Or is
he getting a huge percentage from them?

reply

Is it really true that the money from his Parkinson's research centers
are going directly toward sick children with that illness or is he getting
a huge percentage from them? I am just wondering how research centers of that
kind work in the United States. I have met him before and he said one time
that if his acting career ended all of a sudden he has incomes from other
places.

Thank you for the information. I am from Central America and in my country
the donations you give to charities are used to help individuals in need,
sometimes these people are boarded in special facilitiesas well. I didn't
know that many people that created charity organizations pocketed the money.
Parkinsons in not close to getting a cure,at least not in the U.S. Maybe in
10-20 years there might be one but it has to be tested many times in humans
so it can be safe to use.

I know for fact that The Michael J Fox Foundation has donated money to stem cell research (as I was once invested in a company that received donations from his foundation)
