Has not made a good movie since 2004.

I was a fan of Carrey. But, like a lot of people judging by his decreased box office, I have found that he's well and truly flushed his career down the toilet the last 10 plus years. He reminds me of Steve Martin. Starting out in zany comedies, gradually moving in to more dramatic roles, with limited success and becoming a bit of a bore in truth film wise.
For me, his last truly good movie, was Eternal Sunshine, and to be fair, Unfortunate Events also.
Mr Popper's Penguins is one of the worst movies I have seen, and The Number 23, Fun With Dick And Jane, Burt Wanderstone etc were not far behind. As for Dumb and Dumber To, he wasnt bad in it, but my God, that was a pile of desperately unfunny garbage sadly.
In Penguins in particular, he looked lost. Thats where he's at for me. Lost.
The Bad Batch sounds interesting, True Crimes may also be, but the word of mouth so far isnt looking good on both of those.
He will likely continue to fade into Steve Martin-ness...
