Unless of course, James Cameron decides to breathe new life into the franchise and actually write and direct a Terminator future war saga that's broken down into multiple movies.
Maybe when he's done with Avatar....about ten or fifteen years from now, he'll decide to go back to Terminator, similar to how decades later, Ridley Scott decided to go back to Alien.
You know, the odds are, avatar sequels will also suck.
This dude is on the same path as Spielberg. Made some amazing films when young, and pretty shitty when old. I'd say most film directors follow the same trajectory. Speaking of which, I'm glad you brought up R. Scott - cause he is a prime example - and he's fucking the Alien franchise in all 3 holes and some people still hope some good will come out of it.
I can't believe they decided to make not one, but four Avatar sequels. If the first one bombs it's going to be the most expensive mistake in cinematic history. James Cameron will never make another film - unless he pays for it entirely with his own money.
