There have been "blind items" going around of late that suggests that she has been boozing a lot on the set of her new talk show.

She admitted to another host on her show last year that she drank too much when she appeared on his show, Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. This is apparently a show where they serve drinks to their guests on the air. She apologized to him and said she regretted it:

I don't think she's ever claimed she was a complete non-drinker. In '90s interviews I think she talked about drinking sometimes. But it's definitely always going to be a risky thing for her to drink giving her family history of alcoholism.

Drew Barrymore is at this point in her life, probably a "functional alcoholic", which is described as a person who maintains jobs and relationships while meeting the criteria for having an alcohol use disorder.
