I don't get the popularity of this fellow. I don't find him funny at all and am annoyed by him. Thankfully, I haven't seen anything in which he stars -- I can't imagine how anyone could sit through that. I can barely tolerate brief scenes with him as a minor character (e.g., "Love Actually" a great movie EXCEPT for the few scenes with him). He's dreadful.

i absolutely adore him as mr. bean but I completely hate him as blackadder. (do love hugh laurie though!!)
