Who owns her likeness??

I'm surprised at how little products her likeness adorns, but it's not for lack of trying. If you look at her horrific website and their horrific presence on social media, you can tell that they are trying to make her into a commodity like Marilyn Monroe, but their hands seem to be tied. I believe they've only done a jewelry line and that is it. It makes me wonder if her likeness is actually owned by Elizabeth Arden, hence why the so called "Trust"(lol) can't do much? If that is so I hope it remains that way.

Okay--but when I watch her brilliant performance in, say, "The Prince and the Showgirl" believe me, fake quotes and silly products never cross my mind.

But she did not have the leading lady career of most other stars, which is likely why the image and the products dominate now.

Even Louella Parsons, who adored MM, said in 1961, "Marilyn is a far greater star in print, and the public imagination than she is on screen, for all her success. The public is fascinated with her whether she makes movies or not." Louella was no fool.
