Easter Parade on Blu Ray

I have been slowly adding Blu Ray titles to my collection since purchasing an HD TV and
Blu Ray player last year. Most of the tiles have been a vast improvement over the DVDs.
This past weekend, my Blu Ray of "Easter Parade" arrived just in time for the holiday. To
my great disappointment, this colorful classic looks scarcely better than the DVD. Yes,
the picture is crisper, but the color isn't better, and the faces are waaaaay too bright and pale.
In Ann Miller's number, "The Girl on a Magazine Cover", the red feather is muddy and the
image bleeds. I doubt Warner's scanned a new print for the Blu Ray; this just looks like the
standard DVD on HD - improved, but far from sensational.

Too bad.
