Why in the world did Philly try for a 2-pt conversion

When 1 pt would have got them within 6? Any Eagles fans on here that can explain?

Sheer stupidity. Could get the coach fired.

Not a Philadelphia Eagles fan; I picked Tampa Bay to win.

The teams that make it to the Super Bowl usually don't have a lot of key players injured.

I was not watching it live. Did the announcers seem surprised?

I've been watching ESPN with Peyton & Eli Manning. They brought it up again, now that it is now very difficult for Philly to catch up 25-9. The Eagles actually made the extra point, but there was a Defensive Offside penalty on Tampa Bay. So The Eagles foolishly took the point off the board and went for 2 points, JUST BECAUSE THEY WERE MUCH CLOSER. Hurts failed. It was stupid, given the score.

The Mannings 2nd quarter guest was Tampa Bay's retired coach, Bruce Arian. They now have former Ravens player Ray Lewis, who is criticizing how poorly modern NFL players play defense.

The kids these days! Nobody worried about concussions back when Junior Seau was putting on the pa--oops!

Ray Lewis said that the Eagles defensive players have been playing as individuals since they reassigned the defensive play caller. Each man is trying to make the big play. He said that they need to play together as a unit, which they did to get to the Super Bowl last year, and which they did early this season.

When Dak Prescott took the field against the Packers, he arrogantly looked like he had a win in the bag. But when Hurts took the field tonight, he looked to me like he already knew that he was going to lose. He lost his best receiver and knows that his team's pass defense now stinks.

Eli Manning said he tried to simulate Hurts having to play with an injured middle finger. He had no problem throwing the ball.
