The Baby Yoda Show. Season 3, episode 1

Have you seen Halloween Ends? I'm 1 hour in, I like it, but not as a Halloween movie. I feel like this could have been its own movie, seperate from the myth of Michael Myers. The plot could have just revolved around the main guy being ostracised by the town. I do see the link of everyone in town being hateful and suspicious because of the constant fear of Michael though.

Yes, I saw it at the theatre when it came out. My review:

This didn't really feel like a Halloween movie to me. There were parts and characters that didn't really work for me, but there were also some great moments and stuff I really liked. I don't think it is as good as Halloween 2018 or Halloween Kills, but there was enough here to satisfy me. I do hope that this is the final Halloween movie. It would be a nice note to end on and we really don't need any more Halloween sequels, remakes, or reboots. 7/10

Hopefully watch the old Fletch before you watch the new version.

reply

Yeah, I saw Fletch but it was like 30 years ago, I don't remember much. I might give it a rewatch before I watch the new one.
Thanks for the tip.

Watched this for the first time out of sheer boredom and desperation last night and finally understood the impact it made back then. Great movie and soundtrack! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jT0IXTXAnmo

I love her music. My favorite movie of hers is Yentl.

reply

Yes, I actually owned Yentl on VHS years ago. Also, I watched this earlier yesterday https://moviechat.org/tt0093660/Nuts, which I recommend, so it was a Barbra Streisand day for me. Not only does she have a dynamic singing voice, she's also a damn good actress!
