Old Movies

I watched a couple of old movies the other day that I still remembered when they came out and I was surprised that IDBM disliked them so much. One was Carnival Story with Ann Baxter about an American Carnival that toured Germany just after the war, and the other was Band of Angels! I thought that the last one made Gone With The Wind seem like a kid's film. Now Clark Gable WAS a little old, but the story line was hard hitting and showed what the Civil war was really like.
