Best App/Website to Track Your TV Shows

I always seem to forget when a new season of a show starts, or what series I'm following, or how far into a series I've gotten. So I was wondering whats the best Application/website that you would reccomend me to keep track of my favourite TV shows?
I'm currently using trackseries.tv. Mostly because it has a desktop application available on windows store called trackseries, has a very clean and simple design, however not having a mobile app was a let-down

I'm not signing up to anything when IMDB still has an episode guide and airing date attached to TV shows which anyone can access for free.

I'd rather not use IMDB but email, Twitter, Facebook and Google as a means to find out the same things?

does it allow you to bookmark what episodes you have watched, or how many episodes you missed? Netflix releases every episode at once how do you deal with this ?
i would rather use notepad to track than IMDB

It lists seasons/years and from there you get them all on one page starting with the first and you scroll down with both the date and the synopsis of the episode shown together. For example (Sorry for linking to IMDB) for Breaking Bad series one you can see the synopsis and airing date. If you've seen it you'll know you have and if you stumble upon an episode you haven't not enough is given away to be called a spoiler of any worth.

It is good an perhaps something which MC could eventually incorporate if users here are happy to do a basic write up from trusted sources about airing dates and basic information about each episode.

Great topic though Veloxydiedora and I'd like to see what comes of this which is an alternative to IMDB.
