Movies that helped you accept your sexuality and or positively influence

Can you think of any movies that inspired or encouraged you to embrace your sexual orientation as a member of the LGBTQIA community? Maybe a film that made you feel more comfortable to come out to family and/or friends etc?

Peace!

Well, it's not exactly a happy, peppy film, but "The Boys in the Band" did have a huge impact on me as a young gay boy. I first saw it at the age of 15 and it being the first gay movie I ever saw, I was thrilled beyond words! I got my first full-fledged man crush (Lawrence Luckinbill as Hank, though now Donald is my favorite.) and despite Michael's extreme self-loathing and some of the movie's overall sadness, I really, really wanted to be at that party! For the most part, they looked like they were having a blast. I loved those guys (even Michael) and it was like they were my friends!
