The actor Charles Coburn
I have always liked this actor, who died in 1961, and have several of his movies on DVD. Can anyone tell me if a biography of him has ever been written and if so let me have the details? Many thanks.
shareNo, brand, I can't say I have seen them, or at least not recently as I can't recall them. They tend to show older films in the afternoon here, so it's a matter of 'if I'm in, I'll tape them, any older film is ok for me, as I consider them far superior to the films of the last few decades. I know it sounds prudish, but I do prefere films that all the family can watch without embarassment, films with good plots and good stories rather than the special effects motivated ones that they're kicking out now. I really do think they will make a come back someday.
