Another poster on this board had all her personal information put out all over the internet and Facebook several months before her death by a troll that decided to destroy her, she was too ill to fight back. I think IMBD doesn't want to deal with these issues.A friend had someone try to do that to him. Most of the trolls are the garden variety -- "I'll say ugly things about you and your mama so I won't have to feel like such a loser" -- type. But there are some really vicious people out there who can't take being bested in an argument -- or whatever it is that gets up their nose -- and they cross the line into criminal harassment.Perhaps they fear lawsuits.I'd never thought of that. Perhaps some have already been threatened, which is why IMDb is tucking their collective tail and running.
