I'm sad about House of Cards

Kevin Spacey is one of the best actors of all time. It's a shame how everything went down. That show was great for at least the first 2 seasons, and it would've been nice to see how it would've played out. I couldn't get into the last season and didn't finish it.

That being said, the accusations against the Spacester are unsavory, to say the least. Now I don't know him personally, and I'm sure very few people actually know the whole story, but barring any further revelations, I have to believe the victims.

He'll always remain one of my favorite actors, whether he ever makes another film or not.

To you. I think he is mediocre, and his face is ugly and punchable. BUT, how is talking about Kevin Spacey political?

reply

Absolutely my opinion. The show was about the upper levels of American government.

You should check out "Occupation" if you can stand Norwegian with English subtitles. It is a 3 season political thriller that reminded me somewhat of HOC, but was so much more reasonable, believable and complex - and BETTER. I just finished it yesterday and it blew me away. I'm recommending it to people because it is very high quality, I think Norway's first, or best, or something, media export.

I mean, you know House Of Cards was just about a psychopath who murders his way up to the Presidency. Now we know that is not how it happens! ;-)

It looks pretty good. I can handle subtitles better than a bad dub any day.
