"The Art of Her Deal": Melania renegotiated her prenup before moving into the White House with Trump

In a new book titled 'The Art of Her Deal: The Untold Story of Melania Trump', Washington Post reporter Mary Jordan tells the truth about why Melania Trump delayed her move into the White House after the inauguration back in January, 2017.

Melania used the excuse she didn't want to leave Manhattan with her son Barron at that time, which would uproot him from his school at the mid-year mark. It was a good PR stunt for Melania.

However, according to sources close to the situation, Melania was using those six months to renegotiate her prenup with Trump, if he wanted her to play the role of First Lady. Melania, Trump's third Trophy wife, was furious with her husband and his 'extramarital affairs' which were made public, and the humiliating 'grab'em by the pussy' remark' which stained their marriage. She used those six months alone in Manhattan as 'leverage' to renegotiate the prenup, otherwise she wasn't moving to the White House at all.


And she wanted her son Barron to be treated equally as Trump's first three children, when it came time to his inheritance. (In other words, he wasn't going to be relegated to 'spare tire' status like daughter Tiffany - take that Marla!)

"She wanted proof in writing that when it came to financial opportunities and inheritance, Barron would be treated as more of an equal to Trump’s oldest three children," Mary Jordan writes, implying that she wasn't confident her marriage would last.
