At least Democrats aren't pretending to be concerned about "Russian stooges" anymore, and have returned to their usual form of doing Moscow's bidding. Their failed impeachment and their slavish devotion to China punctured that balloon.

It would have actually benefited Russia to have Hillary as president, instead of Donald Trump. See, they had already worked with her, and knew she was pliable as an international partner, no matter whether their goals were legal or not. Trump, on the other hand, has been the worst thing ever to happen to Russia, which just pokes more holes in the narrative they've been cooking up since Election Night.
I've even read, that after Hillary conceded defeat, her team and DNC friends immediately said they had to come up with a good story on how Trump "stole" the election, and the circus that came later was the result.
