Tony Blair calls for people to 'rise up' against Brexit

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38996179

'Tony Blair has said it is his "mission" to persuade Britons to "rise up" and change their minds on Brexit.

Speaking in the City of London, the former prime minister claimed that people voted in the referendum "without knowledge of the true terms of Brexit"'

Whilst he does make a good point, I think he underestimates just how fυcking unpopular he is with the public.

I think Blair could turn more remoaners into Brexiteers than Eddie Izzard. The biggest democratic exercise in UK history and our most despised ex-prime minister thinks he has the credibility to pull this off?

Every day that passes project fear is being shown up for what is was FTSE 250, the real indicator of business growth is prospering because of the Brexit vote.

Doomsday doesn't work anymore.

Love is the law...

I can't think of anyone less suited to the task he has set himself. Both sides were using "project fear".

Over a million people marched against the Iraq war and he ignored them and went ahead with it anyway.

Why would anyone listen to that assclown now?

"I'll hit you with so many rights you'll be begging for a left."

reply

Indeed. I was on that march.
