The Budd Boetticher/Randolph Scott Westerns

I just re-watched The Tall T today, and as much as I remembered it being good, I had forgotten just how well written it was, not to mention well acted and well directed.

Richard Boone was absolutely fantastic as the villain. He's a fairly likeable villain, and it's clear that he isn't a cookie cutter bad guy. That wasn't all that surprising given just how good the Boetticher/Scott Westerns were.

I'm going to re-watch all of them over the next couple of weeks. Fantastic stuff!
