Vera. Love Bates Motel, The Conjuring 1-2 and Orphan. Joshua is good. Also she's hot.

CG gore is the worst thing that has ever happened to the horror genre.

Vera all the way. She's on her way to become a horror icon. Great performance after great performance. Wouldn't call her a scream queen but she has that face that just steals a shot in every scene she's in.

Not a fan of Jennifer Carpenter. Only seen her in Quarantine. Which was alright.

Vera. She was incredibly hot in The Departed and an excellent actress. Nothing against Carpenter, but she doesn't compare with Vera.
