In the UK the X Files is back, a new series of just 6 episodes was just recently shown on Channel 5 here.
The way this series was ended leaves it hanging for another one to follow it.
Gillian Anderson was interviewed recently on the Jonathan Ross Show on ITV saying they are hoping to make more programmes to follow that series.
If your talking about the movie, no as it dudnt further the mythology. It was more like a monster of the week and left many disappointed.
