What non pay cable TV show gave you hope that the current offerings weren't all just junk?

By non pay I mean non HBO, Showtime, etc..

For me it was Fargo....TV had pretty much gone stagnant for me and then this show comes along and blows me out of the water and I've been hooked for 3 seasons...I hope they do a 4th!
