Films that were originally in color but only B/W versions survived ?

I was wondering are there any known films that were filmed in color but only the B/W copies survived ? American films specifically, I know world cinema got many that were lost with only a B/W copy in circulation but what about Hollywood ?

Yes, Warner Brothers made many musicals either partly or completely filmed in two-color Technicolor in 1929 and 1930(THE SHOW OF SHOWS, SALLY, GOLD DIGGERS OF BROADWAY), but when Associated Artists Productions bought the pre-1949 Warner sound film library, the made B/W copies for TV before the Technicolor Corporation junked the color originals. A handful of the color originals have re-surfaced(VIENNESE NIGHTS, UNDER A TEXAS MOON), but most of the Warner color films of that era exist in color fragments aside from the B/W versions.
