hi, im new to this movie forums kind of thing so please forgive me if i do something wrong.

I just want to know this movie's name I saw a scene of about 6-7 years ago. SCENE: A burglar breaks in a house he believes to be empty that night and finds out there's someone already there (perhaps another burglar). It was night, thunderstorm, squeaky doors, darkness, ropes or strings tied to stuff near floor meant to make someone fall. I feel the genre to be crime and horror.

I know this is very vague detail, also my english is not good. if this is not the right forum, please redirect me to the right one.

I haven't seen it but it sounds like The Collector (2009).
