Removed liver spot in a jewelry case???

And another one I remember even less about... not even what kind of film it was, comedy or drama. Also unsure about the time the movie was made, but I guess somewhere between mid-60ies and mid-70ies. I remember only one particular episode and don't remember at all what the rest of the plot was about: There was a couple, he had a mole / liver spot on his shoulder (?), she didn't like it / hated it. He had it secretly removed and, for some reason, presented it to her (as a joke) in a jewelry case. She thought it would be some fancy jewelry, opened the case, found the liver spot and was grossed out.
Not much, I know, but maybe somebody knows?

Sounds like a story from one of the Amicus anthologies, or maybe Tales of the Unexpected. They were full of stories like that.

Thanks a lot, but that's definitely not it. I don't remember much, but I do know it wasn't anything in the horror or supernatural genre, rather a slice of life story - either drama or comedy, probably something romantic.
