I hate to tell you the obvious, but he was convicted.
I wonder how he will react when his other charges come to trial. He may fall victim to the "three strikes" issue and spend the rest of his life in jail.

Perhaps a democracy needs more than just two sides to be viable. It also needs an informed electorate.
Any more than four or five parties and you get a non-functioning democracy as nothing gets done.
