Gave up halfway through Bad sound mixing ruined it Any suggestions for shows similar to this If you love the Moby track at the end... I found the track they should use for the big ending... How did the cops know the gang were hitting the metals deposit place? It's fantastic! Good point. I wonder how it knew it had got the one exact John Connor it needed to kill. I think the machine would have just kept on running its mission directive and keep finding and killing any Sarah Connors it could locate using the resources of the time, for as long as it can before being stopped. Reese said as much - something like it doesn't stop, being relentless. I had to check to see if my edition had it - it doesn't! I had overlooked this and wish he would record one. But maybe he feels he has already said everything he can about this one, in the interviews / making of material. But it would be good if he could do it, even as a digital release for fans. His commentary for T2 was fantastic, and the Aliens one (with separate cast and producer recordings mixed in) is one of my all-time favourite commentaries. Similarly, I wish George Lucas would sit down and record commentaries for the first three Star Wars movies he made, watching them and talking about the making of the scenes. What we got as 'commentaries' were horrible cut-and-paste jobs from interviews or something. That's fantastic! I tried watching this movie with my 6 y/o a few months back and they didn't really engage. It takes a while to initially get going and then dies off again, then comes back. Needs a lot of patience. I loved it as a kid in the '80s but times have really changed. That scene really creeped me out at a kid watching this film. What they did to that poor cute little thing... This movie was aimed more at a younger audience already, so was even further removed from the perfect balance of horror and comedy that was the first movie. Perhaps they could do some kind of spin-off perhaps, away from the main cast and story, for kids. The post-movie scene with the marshmellow men and the truck seemed really pointless to me. Like something they edited out and tacked onto the end or something. You're right - they are very similar in appearance, but then there is the belief that people have a preference for a certain 'type' so it may be that way on purpose. Maybe he was drawn to these two women. The two actresses were Melora Walters and Sheila Kelley. If you google them, you'll see. Same... he is most memorable as Bishop for me. I completely agree that this would have been better and given the film makers a much better scene. Imagine everyone there staring in shock and awe at the sight of the explosion and mushroom cloud rising, and it's so strangely silent. Then it comes... But... I don't think the effects available to the TV production at the time could have properly conveyed that effect, however, so we got what we got. Perhaps easily influenced by whatever was behind it all, so insisted his drive wasn't the cause. And maybe a degree of self preservation, to protect himself / his reputation by desperately saying it isn't the drive. View all replies >
