I've seen Royal Albert Hall in a lot of videos. Seating capacity is somewhat like Radio City Music Hall in NY (RCMH=5,960 RAH= 5,272) but what sets them apart from other venues is their history, their fame, their iconic status. The capacity is big enough to get a large crowd feel but small enough to feel intimate (I love that). You must have been there before, tell me a little about being inside, the acoustics, the vibe, the sense of history, but also, does it have good concessions (food, alcohol), and most important for the rock concert goer, how are the bathrooms?

Sirrrrrrrr,

I’m now sat in the Elgar Room hitting the free bar and eating the free food. This venue is acoustically perfect. I’ve been to many gigs here including: -
Toto
Tom Petty
Yes
Bryan Ferry.

reply

Now that's class. For those that don't know, Edward Elgar wrote, amongst other things, the music that would later become standard at graduation ceremonies.

Enjoy the show.

I can't listen to him anymore after years of my brother learning guitar to his music, but he's talented.
