I predicted nothing tonight. I thought the "Mad Max" junkyard woman and her crew could be trusted. Guess not. Really thought they were sticking to the comics with Dwight turning on Negan - NOT....the best parts were Sasha falling on Negan and the Tiger "photo bombing"into the scene. Not sure where this goes next. Negan's got the troops. Rick and crew need to get SMART now. Can't go up against Negan force on force....not gonna work. How about a couple of tractor trailers full of walkers, and some sort of diversion/trickery to get them into the Sanctuary, or, get Negan and his troops hemmed in somewhere.... My wife and I really enjoyed this show....sorry to see it end. I was personally wishing for some huge epic battle at the end between the Grimms and Wesens.....was hoping to see Trubel bring back an "army" of Grimms from her world tour..... Especially after his continual comments about Trump I want to punch De Niro in his smug face. So no thoughts on this? It is one of the great mysteries of movie history.... Those letters imdb have no meaning to me.....as a matter of fact i threw up in my mouth a little when I read them.... Oscars have been irrelevant since the disaster of 1977. Annie Hall over Star Wars. That's it....I'm done! Grimm....of course.....final season! Wow....there is a question I have never pondered...... Wow, Anzio! My Dad and I were just talking about Anzio the other day. Could have been much worse for the Americans, very close to disaster.....a lot of courageous soldiers there. Hey I think I will be enjoying the SW board here....are you a big fan? I try to explain the impact of the original in May 1977 to my 3 boys (they are 14, 13 and 9 and HUGE SW fans) - they don't understand just how huge that movie was...!!! MovieMan I also am a proud graduate of the US Army War College in Carlisle PA, class of 2007. They let about 20 Air Force officers in each year and I was lucky enough to be selected. I am very proud of Soldiers - my Dad was in 10th Mountain Div right after the Korean War (ski trooper, trained at Camp Hale CO). His dad was in the 104th Eng Battalion, 29th ID, in 1918 in WWI - center sector in France. Was in the push against the Germans and was gassed 3 times (he survived). My Dad never forgets to remind me that the Air Force was once the Army Air Corps!! LOL!! Thank YOU for your service, Soldier! HOO AHH!! Thank you and yes....retired in 2012 after 26 year US Air Force career. Aircraft Maintenance and Logistics Officer. 5 years in Japan.....2 tours to the Desert 52 yr old SW geek here.....I saw without hesitation Rogue One by far. Absolutely loved the worlds, characters, raw courage, backstory of an Imperial Officer (the first ever in SW) and of course the battle scenes. When I heard they were continuing the SW saga, before The Force Awakens, I was looking forward to new characters, new worlds, new challenges, etc......TFA , although an enjoyable movie, felt too familiar for me. In my opinion Gareth Edwards took risks in Rogue One that paid off tremendously. Loved the insight into the Rebellion and also the Empire. Also loved the "gritty" serious tone, and also, being a huge fan of war movies , I loved that this was the first "war movie" in the SW saga - reminded us it is Star WARS. No touchy feely stuff here, no Ewoks or Jar Jar, just the coming together of a team of rebels who made the ultimate sacrifice. The final scene in Rogue One, from the time that Vader says "prepare a boarding party" , through the end of the movie, is in my opinion one of the top 3 scenes in all the SW movies. I will never be able to read the 2nd paragraph of the opening crawl in A New Hope without tearing up....R1 showed the tremendous sacrifice to get those plans. Seinfeld bloopers......Kramer stuffing a pretzel in his mouth, see link, is in my opinion the funniest most gut busting 1 minute and 3 seconds in comic history https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cApcgB58_Jw ....hey Moralesantjr.....I don't know you but welcome.....what do u want to talk about? Remember the last scene of "Indiana Jones"...? That crate that they put into the huge warehouse, never to be seen again, contained the entire history of IMDb forum posts.... Leia they do some songs that can bring grown men to tears (like they did with me!) - very powerful! They do a song called "O, America!" that gets me every time! StyxNyx we saw "Celtic Women" live a couple years ago.....simply awesome! Very talented! I was an aircraft maintenance officer in the US Air Force.....maintenance is sometimes abbreviated slang "MX".....I used to update the year every year but I quit in 2015.....I retired from active duty in 2012 after 26 year career.....yes this is the same name I used on IMDb They have yet to invent the machine that can measure how little I give a shit about the Oscars. It will inevitably turn into a political rant-fest, where those making >$20 million per year lecture the rest of the USA on who we should have voted for.
