How woke it is?

I have heard there is a subtext of Emma's character being the symbol of female empowerment and male characters being stupid when they are with her. Classical Hollywood poor attempt at feminism?

I wouldn't exactly call it "woke" in the general sense that the lead doesn't have anything political to say and there aren't any forced diversity figures that relate somehow to victim/oppressor plots etc...

Although, you could say Bella (played by Emma Stone) is being held captive but I would say, no, not accurate. For the most part, Poor Things is a Frankenstein tale with a different twist, it's like Frankenstein meets Monty Python with fantasy/sci-fi elements thrown in.

I watched it last night and I thought it was a very good movie. It's quite an entertaining piece of film. I liked how all the men wanted Bella to themselves and were even shocked by how free spirited she was, they just couldn't tame this wild filly. haha...

It's quite hilarious. I got to give it a 7.9 out of 10. It might become my favorite Yorgos film. It's actually important to know that this is a Yorgos film, if you haven't seen any of his movies then you might be rather appalled by it or just plain shocked by the content. His films are quite zany and highly sexual. they don't exactly fall into the rom-com genre but in some odd way, they do. The comments in here are funny though.

People are either complaining about all the sex or Emma Stone not being attractive enough. Does anyone want to talk about the story? haha.. goodness, people. Art is really not for puritans.
