He lived in a trailer, so he definitely didn't have a Washer/Dryer. By that point, Riggs was family to both Roger and Trish, so it isn't that weird.
Plus he probably rode in with Roger, so it was an easy drop off and pick up.
As they told the photographer in the final movie: We're family.
