One of those films I (probably) haven't seen...


I mean, I've seen a few Mad Max knock offs, mostly Italian, mostly awful. The only reason I have any interest in this one is that it is the film that some very early, derivative but fun, Christopher Young music was used in.

If somebody can tell me this is significantly better than the movies I've seen with dull car chases and a lot of clowns in "post apocalyptic" gear out in the desert or in some quarry (where the Italians shot half their genre films)... Y'know, another ambiguously heroic dude in tattered leathers standing, reluctantly at first, for a group of survivors with nice hair in a world where fuel/water/the cure for some plague is the most important thing and is coveted by shabby looking thugs in service to an evil warlord. ...Maybe I'll give it a look.

it's got that, but there's more to it, it's one of the better ones.
