Like I said his physical appearance could have been easily pulled off because Jason Patrick definitely has features with the loose curly hair and you know the jaw line the body I just don't see him as that kind of an actor that could dig that deep and if he does in his rolls it doesn't come across that way. That's just my opinion and Oliver Stone as you well know takes years to develop a film the research I should say so he researched a lot of stuff at least two or three years before they you know started putting the script together which is common of all Oliver Stone. Well in the biography he spoke about that in 2021 it's a independent film he released and Val kilmer talks about his film career and all the journals and all the video tapes and stuff he took from the beginning when he started acting as a kid all the way up you know to current and he admitted it took a toll on his marriage because he was in character for over a year you know singing Morrison to you know the doors tunes at home listening to music constantly singing you know the songs constantly just living in character even at home so it did take a toll on his marriage he admitted
