I think this war has opened our eyes to just how much Jew hatred there is in the world and how many gullible (stupid) people there are out there who believe absolutely ridiculous accusations about Israel, i.e. 20,000 babies killed. 🙄🙄 Accusations being made by a terrorist organization who uses civilians as human shields no less! A terrorist organization who FILMED their atrocities and then denied them! If Israel wasn't being so damn careful about civilian casualties, this war would have been over in November! Any sane person should be able to see that. Part of me thinks that most of these people don't actually believe the accusations, they just hate Jews so much they're joining the crowd to spew hate. It's just mind boggling! ??? Next time it'll be his turn. Wow! Happy 90th Mrs. Partridge I really liked The Strangers. I can see one sequel but three, I don't think so. I don't think he was a creep, but I do agree that she needs to find herself and take some time by herself to do that. I am sorry it didn't work out. It's sad when any relationship ends (unless it was abusive) but I do think it was the right thing for her to do. She has a strong sprit to have survived many years of abuse inflicted by her crazy mother! She will find herself and be OK. I just watched that scene again and Farley says, and I quote "On a hunch, I took it upon myself to check out if there was any information on a '63 Pontiac Tempest. . . . . ." It's very clear that Farley was taking total credit which, as we know, was OK with Vinny. A nod to Vinny was just between them, not to acknowledge Vinny's role in Farley's discovery with anyone else. To me, one can have a huge ego but still be a decent person and can admit when they're wrong, at least sometimes. Then there are those with huge egos that are, as you say, insufferable and can never admit they're wrong. I don't think everyone with huge egos are always insufferable. So yes, I think that's where some of our difference of opinion comes in. We can agree to disagree. I have no problem with that 🙂 I didn't see it that way at all. I'll cut and paste my comment from below how I saw it and how others I know understood it: Farley said "on a hunch" because he wanted to take the credit. That was very clear. He wanted to look like the one that had a "hunch" that there was something more to the case than what was being presented. That was OK with Vinny, he wasn't about taking credit, he was about trying to help his cousin. As far as Vinny saying "what did you find out?" - that's just the way Vinny talked. He was from Brooklyn and that's how a lot of us talk. He was excited and nervous about the prospect of getting his cousin off with the revelation of there being another car so he just blurted out "what did you find out?" Remember, he wasn't your average, professional acting attorney 🙂 Farley said "on a hunch" because he wanted to take the credit. That was very clear. That was OK with Vinny, he wasn't about taking credit, he was about trying to help his cousin. I think Farley was open to looking into Vinny's information because by that point Vinny was actually starting to weaken the prosecutor's case. He was finally looking like an attorney, not a boob. He saw that Vinny actually knew what he was talking about and probably thought better of refusing him. He still had a big ego but didn't want to permit a travesty of justice. Heck, even the prosecutor who had a HUGE ego relented at the end. I like her very much. I forgot all about this. I didn't even realize it was him until I read your response and looked him up. Never in a million years would I have thought Jeopardy! would have invited him back after trashing them like he did. I know I wouldn't have if it were my decision. Now that I know it's him, I'm hoping he loses! I agree it was excellent. I agree, doesn't seem so. Exactly Yeah, I said I stand corrected, trying to be nice about it. I don't think you understand what that means. I was replying to your response to me about people commonly building bomb shelters in their basements. That link was very appropriate as it explained it was usually only wealthy people who built bomb shelters. Nothing more, nothing less. They were common in homes of people that could afford them. I stand corrected 🙂 https://www.apartmenttherapy.com/fallout-shelters-american-homes-36770210 Just saw it and I agree that it was very disappointing. It wasn't scary and it was very generic. It reminded me very much of Scary Movie, i.e. a group of HS kids with a murderer in a mask after them. At least Scary Movie was really funny, this was not.
