Oh no, it definitely is.
I hate when people try to bring down a great movie over such a trivial issue...
I think OP meant the series going Evil Dead, Evil Dead 2, and then instead of Evil Dead 3, changing it up to Army of Darkness.
Is the Snyder Cut of Justice League really THAT much better? I haven't seen either...

Yeah, I would definitely recommend the original. I didn't think the remake was terrible, but the original is fantastic.
My ratings:
Original: 9/10
Remake: 6/10
