My thought is that the violence towards the woman and her screams would cause howls of toxic masculinity and abuse from today's audiences. It is probably a generational thing as what he is doing is similar to the comic violence in the Roadrunner cartoons and Three Stooges.

yeah she is known for it. I had to keep looking at her top, the pink at first made me wonder if it was some weird cut outs. She seems sweet in the way she behaves. I still haven't watched anything with her in it though.
