The "government," even this towns rules, have a moral obligation to be better than the "criminals." If they decided on a death penalty, they should have shot him in the head. Leaving people to be tortured before killed should be unacceptable. Coming up with the "box" is the product of a twisted mind.
I watched all of MASH in reruns and DVD. It absolutely declined. Whether you like Winchester or not is another argument but the Winchester years were preachy and more about social statements than characters. I think people that watched it first-run elevate it because even bad MASH seasons were better than the other garbage on network TV at the time (that robot kid, etc.).
I remember Cheers and Friends declining because I stopped watching them entirely.
Even Seinfeld had 2 bad years (compared to earlier Seinfeld) towards the end before a comeback last season (not the finale).
All of the action and plot resolution away from Quaid, including while he was unconscious at Rekall, the female tech saying they didn't do the implant yet....all while he was unconscious....indicates it all happened and was not in his head.

I agree AND they remember Spiderman...sooo when Spiderman shows up to the other superheroes and takes off his mask, what will happen?
In interviews, Burt said this was based off Laura. I believe it was his favorite film.
