That's what makes it such a delight. Conversation can go in any or many directions! I think their chemistry is what makes it all work. Anna behaves pretty badly numerous times during the film. It's attraction that stops the kibosh being put on it all. Chemistry isn't about having everything in common, it's about being intrigued by one another. Indeed! Spot on. THANK YOU. And it’s not just him. Max too makes a strong distinction between Will and Anna - she’s a goddess and he’s a mortal apparently. He was only half joking too. Like, guys, she’s human. They won’t be calling her a goddess when she’s older and her looks have faded a bit. Looking back on the film though today’s eyes, the treatment of Marge throughout is one of the most interesting aspects of it. She is constantly disregarded in the film, from Tom’s “The Marge problem” dismissiveness to Dickie’s father not taking her suspicions seriously. Yup, an uncut penis is a wonderful thing. I can't imagine what people are picturing. In countries where circumcision isn't commonplace, do they imagine that men are strolling around with rancid penises? "Nasty looking animal dick"? I just don't know what you are imagining. I'm from a country where most men aren't circumcised. There is nothing nasty about an uncut penis. It's so bizarre to me that you would insult a huge swathe of the earth's population that way. It's very narrow-minded, IMO. The women you have slept with are most used to cut penises. If they were from a country where it isn't the norm, they'd feel differently. It would either that or don't sleep with anybody ever. And if you think you couldn't keep an uncircumcised penis clean and neat-looking, then it sucks to be you. Also, there is nothing unsanitary about foreskin. It never ceases to amaze how socially conditioned people are about this. She truly was awful, to the point that I think the writers went overboard. None of her friends would realistically put up with that, even with her being from a very socially prominent, well connected family. I think it’s utterly patronising. I thought it was romantic at 17. At 37, I think it sounds like a head pat. View all replies >
