Yes, no doubt. It definitely will change things. When he auditioned for the series he was told that he might wanna seriously consider changing his diet, add some meat, men back then ate meat, especially on the cold streets of Birmingham, and he was playing a gangster, he’s quite small in stature, however back then they weren’t that tall, but they were muscular & he needed some muscle. The first thing he did was go out for a meal and had Venison, he’s eaten meat ever since and he goes to the gym. He stopped eating meat originally because of mad cow disease, that was the main reason he discontinued. 14 years is a long time to be a vegetarian but I guess he really wanted the part so it was worth it for him. I’m glad he did, I can’t imagine anyone else playing Thomas Shelby!
Hi, he’s one of those people you either think he’s gorgeous or NOT! Creepy, certainly, especially in Disco Pigs, he was just sooo weird, but then again he’s a brilliant actor and he’s aged like a fine wine in looks and talent! As far as plastic surgery, I really don’t think he has gone under the knife heres why. When he was younger he did have very prominent cheekbones, jawline, lips eyes, he was very cute, creepy cute, scary looking & very much a pretty boy. I saw him in Disco Pigs he was 25 in reality, he looked about 15. He has gained weight, quite a bit, that will automatically soften your facial features, he is also older, yet still looks much younger than he is, yet he doesn’t look as angular but he still has those sharp cheekbones, jawline because they were sharp when he was young & they’ve softened but still prominent ! I actually like the way he looks now, he looks more masculine and I think it’s the fact that has aged, he is in his mid 40’s compared to his younger days. When I first saw him I didn’t care for him at all, or the series, it took me 3 attempts to watch Peaky Blinders, I love him now & I think on Peaky Blinders he just oozes sex appeal, he drives some women pretty wild, I have a fansite for him, I consult w/ other fan sites, he’s adored & the ladies don’t hold back. Honestly, I now too think he’s absolutely gorgeous & his acting his superb. Those eyelashes too, wow, those are real, for real.... yup they are!
