I think she's fascinating and sexy. But she gets beat up to. It makes all the sense in the world that hedge funds with billions on the line would have a performance coach. Her pop psychology is amazing and entertaining. It's not deep analysis. Glad to see it. Enjoyed the show very much. I watched an episode each night for 2 1/2 months. I enjoyed the musical references, the intelligent characters from millenial to the boomer's, the casting, the uniqueness in the characters, the writing, the way every body got beat up now and then, Wendy's pop psychology, the way they went from Axe to Prince without skipping a beat. The old man was a real bastard at times but relentless. The curve balls the writers threw at you. It was very entertaining. Can't wait for season 7. That was corruption right there. Axe convinced the dr not to put Donny on the experimental treatment. It would have bought Donny a few more months - time enough for Donny to flip on Axe. I like the fact that she gets beat up like every body else in the show. Sure she's manipulative. All shrinks are - but for a good purpose. Her pop psychology blows my mind. She can diagnose and fix you in 3 sentences. It's not therapy what she does. Its performance enhancement. Its powerful just the same. She's attractive. I think she's interesting when she breaks. She fighting threw the layers of robot to accept the emotion. I'm a boomer and I love the music references. Axe's lawyer said his legal work "will be as tight as ACDC in 78." Or the Dylan line "he is not busy born is busy dieing." It was far out that Taylor knew the quote. It was very cool that Axe hung out with Metalica. But I think the characters are great. I can't stop binge watching. I'm in the middle of the 5th season. I'm amazed at the writing. They are always throwing you curve balls. The marriages that fall apart stay that way. Everyone finds new lovers. Rhodes Jr becomes more corrupt overtime. Wendy Rhodes pop psychology is just mind blowing sometimes - yet she takes her lumps like everyone else. The cancer dr who ends up in jail gets revenge. McAfee is a true candidate for Mensa. The fun new millenial chick tells her boss "you're trying to own me & that's not cool." Then walks out. The goofy buck tooth guy likes her. Yes she is. It's good writing and acting. Totally agree. We don't even know if he understood that the abortion would sterilize her. But the frustrating thing is if he didn't, he doesn't explain that to her or his Dad. View all replies >
