Monster design Shaky cam It's amazing how many posts are about how unattractive the females are in these movies. How many twists can you shove in a movie? Plot guesses? It was decent, cliché, but I thought it was somewhat enjoyable. I liked it, I went in not expecting much, but a fun movie. I liked this one! View all posts >

Yeah the trailer was basically 5 minutes of the entire movie. There is a scene of Nicolas Cage just standing in a field waiting for his kid to come back, but the camera was just supposed to come from behind him, and swoop around to his side, and it was jarring at how bad just that one camera shot looked. The second half of the movie is a bit better, but holy cow the first half was tough for me to watch. All in all though, I really enjoyed this movie. I agree, I thought this movie was so much fun! My movie theater was close to half full with a 10:30pm start time. For my theater here and a smaller movie like this, that was a good sign to me. I am trying to talk my wife into coming with me so I can go see it again. Maybe, but the recent movie Benedetta did it pretty well too. Apparently sister Benedetta was a real person, and the only gay nun on record. But I somewhat doubt there was as much nasty stuff as there was portrayed in that movie. Also a great B movie that was so fun is a movie called Nude Nuns with Big Guns. It was hilarious! So I say, bring on the nunspoitation. I thought they were going to go the other way with it, and have his brain in the body of the goat. I could hardly understand most of what they were saying. But I am just a white guy from Wisconsin. Oh I know somehow I will be the center of the target to everyone. I expect a lot more negative replies than positive ones. I think these movies really love to embellish car crashes. Same thing as earlier in the movie when the driver was on the test track, hit a curb but they made sure to show the wheels were turned at an angle to make you think it could happen. Enzo told the driver the car could hit about 130, I don't think that is fast enough on a flat course to launch a car 15 feet high and travel 50 feet in the air. That being said, the scene in front of the house I could not believe that was on screen. Wow, took my by surprise. I agree watching rally/road races with the people standing feet from the road, that is a recipe for disaster. I agree, the first 5 minutes was a flashback of him when he was a racer, then next you see him as a grey haired old man. I am thinking-you skipped quite a bit there. This is the biggest debate and I don't know why it is blown out of proportion. I would say its an Action/Christmas movie. I watched it last night and the Christmas music is throughout the entire movie, people whistling Christmas music, obviously they are at a Christmas party. No snow, of course because they are in California. Huge Christmas tree in the lobby of the building. I agree with the little to no advertising. I know its over 30 year old movie, but I just happened to be looking at my theater website and happened to see it. I have never seen it yet, and holy cow this was an awesome movie! View all replies >
