George Lucas sold his Lucas Animation company to Pixar. I think from there they developed it further and then they created Toy Story.

Yes, the impact back then with old films, and now are totally different. Maybe watching this alone in a dark room, would have a bigger impact.

I've read that Hollywood marriages are essentially limited contracts. They sign contract to be married for a certain amount of years, which includes publicity. And then it ends, in so-called "divorce". There are exceptions though, like John Krasinski, Emily Blunt. I believe they truly love each other.
Hollywood is a farce. Nothing can be believed. That's why it's make believe.
