I miss the early 1990's more now than ever because of the darn coronavirus pandemic, Ohhhh BOO-HOO... why does it affect people so much? Just follow the safety rules and life goes on. You can still go outside and can even see people now. People are real babies... Yeah, I know the feeling, happened to me too. I went to elementary school with a guy and even hanged out with him for some time. Then, 15 years later, I open a newspaper and see a big picture of him in handcuffs and his name written in bold letters with the mention "sentenced for murder". It does feel strange. There is such thing as a "tipped employee minimum cash wage," which is well below the actual minimum wage. Yup, and this abysmal situation is only an issue in North America (as far as I know, feel free to prove me wrong). Most places in the world realize the true meaning of "tip". It is supposed to be an act of generosity for good service, not mandatory. It isn't supposed to be OUR responsibility to compensate for the shitty salary that people receive. I live and I am from North America btw. The "rat" is a police officer who is there to keep people safe (YES I do agree that Orange seemed like a "dirty" cop and he killed an innocent woman... I'm AWARE of that, okay?!). So... Joe is bright and everything... but HE is the scumbag. Yeah.... who said otherwise? I've heard many complaints about this movie but... never heard anything concerning THIS. I feel like 5 minutes is not enough to make that all be present. Wow... I actually agree with you... for once! 😮 This is how it works with any time traveling movies. You need to have a huge suspension of disbelief. I have no problem with it. The definition of marriage was a big step back for me. Hmmm... what? In my area you simply can't enter any store or inside public places without a mask. It's the law. now includes a lot of accepted rudeness, all because everyone's hooked up to every department of their life via that phone in their hand This! I remember dating a girl and we once went to a fancy restaurant and she would CONSTANTLY check her phone. It was just rude and annoying. I called things off after that frustrating date. Jeez... you are not the first person who I've seen thinking this about Scorsese's movies and it makes me wonder: can't you see the second degree? It's obvious that EVERYTHING goes wrong for the characters as they wrongly think that everything goes well while they go slowly to their downfall. I'm sure things would had been better for Henry that way... Hmmmmm... the answer is pretty much in the OP: "he didn't accept that his friend was a psycho." So, he didn't expect Tommy to actually kill him. When he did, he was angry at him and since he just helped him bury a body, he wasn't going to do it twice. That way, he hoped that he would teach Tommy a lesson. Then she was right to dump you. I'll assume and hope this is sarcasm. However, I've known people really thinking like this, so... I don't know at this point. That's because you're not the fastest car on the lot, as evidenced by your previous posts in this thread I'm not the biggest fan of you... but this is the second time I'd side with you (the first being when you put TheAdlerian back to his place, that was satisfying). I must give that this guy seems a bit... slow. I've seen other posts from him on this website and... yeah... Okay, whatever, I don't really care. I just think that you shouldn't be SO sensitive because of a word. I swear REALLY rarely because I don't really feel it's necessary and I also think that when you overuse the word, it loses it impact. Now... back to the other point: how come that you could "get in trouble" with your parents for using a word?? If you are a man in your 30s, your parents don't have a word to say about it. What?? Empire Strikes Back is the best! Are you a religious freak? My parents considered both equally bad words. I would get in trouble for saying either. What? Weren't you a man in his 30s? Btw, I personally don't cuss a lot... but let people talk however they wish. You should do the same instead of being intolerant. There's an extended cut??
