Yeah I thoroughly enjoyed this movie too. I wouldn't consider it horror, but it does have the creepy Twilight Zone vibe to it. It is kind of more sad than anything else. David's his life had become that mundane and routine without him even realizing it. When he thought all hope of meeting someone was lost, he meets Andy through the tape and his mind creates the persona as if Andy is his actual only true friend. Once the girl becomes available again, he finally realizes he has everything he has ever wanted. He projects that Andy is threatened by this new relationship and then decides to ditch the girl, but reaches back out to her when he couldn't locate his mother. Then things just take a drastic turn of events at the end... I would definitely recommend this movie to anyone reading as well. I wouldn't underestimate him, he's actually my top pick to win the season. He may have had several advantages during his season, but he was the only one to go out looking for idols cuz he knew they all wanted him out. The rest of them just stood around like llamas and did nothing. Him reading through Adam's lies was great TV! Yes I agree with you Stringey. It wasn't the best movie I've seen, but I saw much worse before. I also got that interpretation when she saw the mother at the end it was her basically staring at her mirror image. The all black photos that were sent to her probably meant what anyone would see when they close their eyes, the darkness. With your eyes closed you brain can foster millions of dreamlike visions and images. Maybe that is why she kept leaving the light on while she went to sleep. I guess the "ghosts" that were haunting her could possibly be alternate personalities that she was bringing to surface. View all replies >
