Was it supposed to say war is good? Though i don't think it really SAYS anything about war, it merely observes memories, dreams and history.
Obviously she hated her life. That doesn't automatically mean that she hated her baby.

Well said StinkyPoopyPants if that is even your real name. We have no idea what its like to walk on stage to receive an oscar. It's dumb to automatically assume some ill will on his part just cause he messed up the etiquette a bit.
But then you see their names and can picture their faces.
Most people in movies are democrats. You might as well not watch any movies then.
The Native American chick has won several awards for that role, where's the risk of being ridiculed?
Basically what he did was draw attention to the fact that the academy(the people in the room)doesn't like her enough :)
