Me too. Partly because I thought the story was rather sad. GRRM has said before that it will be a bittersweet ending. Maybe in some ways, but I can't help but think that Jon's life as shown in GoT is just plain tragic. On a personal level he lost the two women that he loved, betraying both, but saving the lives of many more. But will his story be told, and his sacrifices? Or will he always be remembered as the Queenslayer? Maybe through Tyrion and remembered by Bran, and House Stark. And even the survivors of King's Landing. I don't know. The other reason is because the show ended after a good run, and it's a bummer to have something you enjoy watching come to an end. Yes there were bumps and sometimes big mistakes or things that were left out, but I personally really enjoyed it. I remember reading the books thinking how it would be a great movie or t.v. show, but that it would be impossible to film. I think we got more than most people bargained for in terms of the magnitude of its success. I think the quality in so many ways was really fantastic. Consider the music. Ramin Djawadi was consistently putting out stuff that the majority of films and television don't even come close to. Not to mention the locations, the costumes, the acting (for the most part), and the visuals. Yes, I know that the story suffered at points and I wish it went in different directions, particularly the ending, but it's great to have experienced it and thoroughly enjoy it for so many years.
